How can I understand/use my body's sexual attraction energy?

What's the natural bodily reaction as far as sexual energy/attraction goes? And how would a shaman handle it or use it? Say you're young like me and you find yourself attracted - is that a bodily thing or something else?

So, you look at someone and your 'body' reaction is to go schwing?

Yes, basically. Is that a learned response or something else? Is it something you want to work with or what?

It's pretty much biological. When that happens, do you see the response and your energy as two distinct parts of the same thing?

It seems to be biological or the body.

But that's a part of your energy to you now; it's not apart from the rest.

But if it's the 'second directive' (to propagate the species - after the prime directive - survival) so to speak, how do we use it?

If you don't want, or don't intend to use it the way nature has pointed you then it's a good time to really look at that feeling and find the roots of the energy that propel it, because it's a very powerful part of human energy. Once you understand where it connects outward from the biological into the rest of your energy then you can begin to work with it just as you would any other aspect of your energy, like your shamanic voice, which we were speaking about earlier. Just as the energy of the voice can be trained and used shamanically so can your sexual energy. If the attraction is biological and you have this reaction the first thing you have to look at is where that energy in you connects with the person you're looking at. It's strong in some cases because you 'line up' with their energy in a sexual way at key points that are very compelling, but you need to see where those points are and then look at the rest of you and where you line up with them, if there isn't a total fit, then you need to take the feelings of the sexual energy and re-channel it into something other than those specific connections. In other words, you look at someone and it hits you really hard in the pit of the stomach, sexually that is, you feel heat come up your back and into the base of your head, most people would assume that's a 'love' attraction, but it isn't necessarily. What it means is simply that on a sexual energy level there are connections there that you both share. If you act on those, which a lot of people do in the world, then things will be hot and heavy for a short period of time, then the parts that don't fit come into play. Then you go up in a ball of fire. So as a shaman, what you have to do is immediately search the other person for all the connections that might or might seem to fit, most of them had better be outside of a sexual attraction or there will be big problems, if you see that then use the sexual energy as a movement to understanding both yourself and the other person if you are in a position to do so. Sexual energy is just a part of human energy that is normally expressed a certain physical way - unless hamsters are involved.

And if not?

If not, use the energy to understand yourself more completely. What that will do is change the nature of your own energy and put the biological aspects of it under more total control.

Why do so many people not line up that way when it's part of the energy?

Because we're all individuals. I can look at someone and think, "Okay, I can see where a sexual connection would be excellent here as far as exploring that energy," but then I look at the rest and think, "Then out comes the axe and law enforcement." Everyone has sexual energy as a part of his or her makeup. But some people are disconnected from it, or they have other problems that interfere, or they just have limited amounts of it. We aren't all composed the same way energetically. Think about this: only one of five conceptions is actually carried to term. So how much bunny making must be going on to reach a population of six billion?
