Hello all,

I am following up with the suggestion that we all try journeying together using the same plant and then compare notes.

I have a list of several common plants that could hopefully be available to most of us, wherever we live. For those interested in doing more plant meditations, could you please note in the poll which ones you could get access to for a group journey with all of using the same plant or at least the same plant family?

Hopefully there will be several and we can do a trip for each.

It's looking like Mint and Dandelion are accessible to most people right now.

I have two questions on the next journey:

1. Would Fridays work? It's pretty much the only day of the week that doesn't have a class scheduled.

2. If we set the date for next Friday (3/31), would that give people enough time to get plants? We could also set it for the following Friday (April 7th)

I think we should plan on doing both Mint and Dandelion so if people can only get one or the other, we can still all join in?

sorry I forgot to vote but I meant to vote for mint so glad its gets the top spot. I will look for the mint plant this weekend so either 3/31 or 7/04 would be fine for me.

by the way, I thought I missed the previous post, what are we suppose to do with the plant, make a tea like we did previously or meditate with the live plant?

My apologies, I did not specify. My thoughts were we could do the meditation in the same way we did when Monique led us but with different plants this time. So, it's really open to however people want to experience it, they can make tea - fresh or dried, from your own sources or purchased. I think Jean is going to try several versions of mint that she has around her property and compare them. I think the only thing that we need to be the same on, is using Mint or Dandelion. I'm guessing people will have different types of mint (peppermint, spearmint catmint...etc.), we could try for all using the same mint but I think that's going to make it complicated and I'd rather it be more relaxed and fun.

I plan on using mint from the yard, I only have one type growing so, I may try and compare it with a purchased variety too.

And as far as dandelion, we have options, I think they make tea out of both the flowers and roots. I have both so I will try both too and  compare, I will have a little tea smorgasbord going. :)

I think I'm going to put it for April 7th, which will allow people that need to order mint or dandelion time to get their stuff.  If everyone has their stuff before the 31st, I'm good with moving it up but things always seem to take longer than you think they should.

I can make either dates and will have both plants ready! Thanks Lorrie.

I ordered from Mountain Rose Herbs, they are currently shipping out in 11-13 days! 😳 Good seeing Lorrie, about things taking a long time! 🫠

I can also try the grocery store. But I like the fair trade practices as it seemed to make a difference in the energy to me 🪴
