Posted December 21, 20222 yr First I want to thank Christian for editing the logs from the chat and separating out the journey movement to the granny witch, that was amazing, thank you! I have posted those logs in a new section of the library just for the Maker Plant Pioneers. You should be able to find the journey log here: https://www.shamanscave.com/table/tier-1/maker-plant-pioneer-journeys/ And you should be able to find the chat log here: https://www.shamanscave.com/table/tier-1/maker-plant-pioneer-discussion-logs/ I created three folders, one for discussion logs, one for journey instructions and one for reference material like when we learn an herbal or plant remedy or application. I don't have anything posted in that one yet, maybe when Holly feels like she has the details on the cherry/pine remedy and has attempted to skin some squirrels we can post the instructions there. We can create more folders as we see fit, maybe different ones for the different topics? My intent is to keep the information handy and useful for people to use. Lorrie
December 21, 20222 yr Author Oh also, please let me know if you have any trouble accessing the folders, since it's not like a normal class set up, I'm not sure if I've made it accessible to everyone in the group. Lorrie
December 21, 20222 yr Author Try it now, please. I gave you permissions but it's odd as you should have been able to see it anyway as a faculty.
December 21, 20222 yr No still the same and I don't see them in the tier 1 list on the site so I checked in joomla and I don't them in there too. C
December 21, 20222 yr lorrie: when creating the access level in the current structure, besides giving the actual group access (i.e. Makers with plants), the Faculty Groups and SuperUser group also need to have the box checked, i.e. Since we don't tend to add Faculty to the individual groups (i..e add faculty members to Maker Plant Pioneers), that's the only way they get access -karl
December 22, 20222 yr Oh, I'm totally bummed out that I missed out on a field trip! I'll have to read the logs this week and see what I've been missing.

Yes and the steps for taking the journey to the granny witch are there too, thanks to Christian, so now you can go and see for yourself.
December 22, 20222 yr Hi Karl and Lorrie! I'm not able to access the links - I think my account for this forum here and the one for the general site are not in sync (I have 2 different usernames in case that is a clue). The message I get in a little red window box in my browser is: "You don't have permission to access this. Please contact a website administrator if this is incorrect."
December 22, 20222 yr Author Hi Arlene, Please try it again, when you get a chance, I gave you permissions for the Plant Pioneers and also for Students, I think you might need that as well, I hope this works. Lorrie
December 23, 20222 yr I'm so bummed that I missed the first meeting! I'm jazzed to try the journey, Years ago, before I knew anything about the cave, I used to journey to an old woman who lived in the mountains - I think in Europe somewhere. She was definitely a granny and was all about Change. She used to brew me tea. Her house was really tiny, and I'd sit at a small rustic table. In trying this journey I'll go fresh, without expectations. Thanks, Lorrie, for getting this going.
December 23, 20222 yr @Beth How cool! I wonder if you could visit her again through a maker lens? What kind of tea did she make? And thanks @silenceseeker for creating a home for the logs and @cyfnos for making sure we had them!
December 24, 20222 yr @housecat I can try it. I always had to hike through the mountains to get to her. No caves. She was on a very steep mountainside, and it was always at night. Ye gods - that was about 30 years ago!
