Hello all,

I would like to suggest we do a group journey on fungi networks/soil biomes soon. We had them as separate topics but it's really hard to separate them out from each other. It was one of the top journey subjects for our poll and I don't feel like we explored them very much at all.

I am open to setting up a journey soon but if people feel we should wait until this class session is over, I understand. I'm feeling drawn to explore this lately, if others are interested, I thought we could form a group intent to focus on and go for a journey to the underground network.

Thanks for your patience,

Lorrie

I am very interested in doing a fungal networks/soil biomes journey! I'm good with either doing it soon, or waiting til this session is over.

Hi Lorrie,

i, too, would be interested! Also looking forward to something after this session is over. Thanks!

Aww, we need to give the fungi some love. :D

How about Friday,  November 10th at 8M ET for our fungi journeys?  It's out a little bit from now and I think most classes will be finished. It will also be past all the seasonal time changes, so hopefully will be less confusing. I also thought we could discuss a bit beforehand what we would like to accomplish so that we are really prepared and focused for this journey.

i'm innnnnn! Maybe we can journey with the liberty caps as @Natalie had mentioned, with an intent of seeing the differences between journeying with the plant as opposed to ingesting.

message you soon lorroe 😌😌🙃☺️🔥

I think that's a great idea, except, I'm not sure how to get Liberty mushrooms here but will look aroud.

Hi everyone, I didn't find any on my walk the other day but I'm not experienced at all so think I need to go with a guide or research more where to find them. Also, thinking about it more I'm not sure if it's the right time for me to ingest such a thing, perhaps thats partly why I didn't find it! :)

Hi @Alicia thanks so much for the post. I think you’re right. I could go for walks with the intention to find them when the moment is right and just be on the look out without expecting anything. The walk alone would be good x

Yes good idea. I will join the journey either way :) will keep an eye out for date / time. Anything mid week is best for me, but may be able to make weekends too depends what’s on. X

And in the mean time if you want to feel their energy for the group journey and you can't locate any, I bet  if you reached out energetically, they would reach back vibrationally.

I don't know much, about much, still very much learning, but that vibration was already within me, I think it's within all of us(ancestor)

Apologies if I am speaking out of turn here. Just don't want you to miss out on the group experience, just because you don't have them in hand.

Hi Alicia, that's so great! I also like to work energetically with plants by scent, or being near them, holding them, connecting with them ❤️

Natalie, it looks like the proposed time is Friday,  November 10th at 8M ET ?

Yes that date should work. Is it 8am or pm ET?x

Hi Natalie, Alicia and Holly,, thank you for your inputs. It's really giving me some good ideas about journey possibilities.

Natalie, it would be 8PM ET which I think will be either midnight or1am your time? I will post a separate announcement for it so it's pinned so the time doesn't get lost in the posts. We have two time changes before then so I'm not certain if I've got the times right yet.

Thank you all for sharing your stories and experiences. It's making me wonder where to focus our fungi journey. Now I'm wondering if we should split the journey into two journeys, one that explores a particular fungi ally, I think the Liberty Cap mushroom or other psilocybin mushroom would be good. I am also interested, if others are too, about mushrooms that increase physical and cognitive health. I've been taking a Lion's Mane supplement for at least six  months now and I really notice a difference. I also started taking the Sacred Seven formula which contains Chaga, Cordyceps, Maiktake, Reishi, Shiitake, Turkey Tail and also Lion's Mane. I really notice a difference it's kind of subtle but not...it's a gentle but unmistakable realization that I am just feeling better and functioning better with them. I do have a plan to test out each separately to see which ones produce which effect. I haven't tried to work energetically with them that much, I wanted to see how they would work, just out of the bottle. But one thing I can't help but notice is this sense that this is what they do, they help integrate and balance and if not outright heal, they create the supporting environment for it to happen. I say this because it doesn't feel like I am interacting with an ally as much as my own energy is activating and moving in a really good way.

This kind of brings me back to your comment, Alicia about your 30 second trip, you weren't ready for it and they let you know. But I'm wondering, would there have been another mushroom that would have been right for you at that time? I'm wondering if they may have been trying to redirect you to what you needed? This is something I would love to explore.

I also would love to explore the mycelial network that connects everything in the earth. I wonder if that is the place to start, as it's where all the fungi function? Or would it be the place to end in our journeying, as it's a complex interconnection that may be hard to understand at first?

Same!! I just remembered a dream I had last night where I was uncovering from the soil all these pink mushrooms, wondering what they were. A quick google search just now and they looked a lot like pink oyster mushrooms. I may order some for the journey if that’s okay since it seems like it was an invitation.

@Alicia love your story about the mushrooms. I do feel, too, that they are ancestors. :)

Absolutely! This is really our own journeys that we are sharing with each other to enhance our own learning, in my opinion. I have some psilocybin mushrooms, but I don't know what species they are, I tried a microdose a couple of times but it just made me tired and I stopped because I don't like feeling tired but I do want to do a due diligence exploration with them and Alicia, your experience of combining them with Lion's Mane is encouraging. BTW, I have wanted to test out Paul Stamets recommended supplement 'stack' for neuro health shown below. I have all the ingredients but have not tried them combined yet.  Maybe I can try them out before we meet but I take enough supplements for generaL health already, lol, I hesitate to add a few more. Maybe I will test it out prior to the journey, I am familiar with Lion's Mane, maybe I will take the other two just to see how they work with my energy. I'd be interested to know if anyone else has tried this combination of Stamets.

Long Before Trees Overtook the Land, Earth Was Covered by Giant Mushrooms

When Giant Fungi Ruled | Eons

"For hundreds of millions of years, fungi have continued to thrive.... Today they're mostly found in the dark, close to the surface, and even underground. But the world we live in was made possible by these fungal pioneers, with their ability to digest rock to create soil, and to derive life from death."

I vote to visit our mushroom friends first, mycelial network at the end? Then we could try to visit each other's mushroom friends through the mycelial network and take as many different perspectives as we can. But I'm not sure if we're voting lol :D

The mycelial network looks very interesting in terms of moving energy, knowledge moves through it riding all the electrical impulses. I'd like to try a couple things personally, first connect to it and receive the info like I am a fungus and see what comes up and the second one is to observe it so I can replicate the mycelial network energetically and apply it to healing situations and people using it to move the intents and changes using electrical/fire energy.

It would be a long term change but maybe much easier to accept for people and culture which is what we need.  It is seems to work well in the background in a way that helps consolidate changes so they don't revert back easily or at all.

That's the little bit I gathered connecting to it now but it is enough to start playing with it.

There is a also a fear to face when working with it, it requires a lot of openness, like water it is able to reach everywhere. Interestingly shapeshifting seems to be the best way to attempt this for me. It's like we were fungi at some point, such an ancient energy, the same way we are water, fire, wind and earth, we are the same.

Ok I have to stop or I will miss work... :)

What an amazing dream that must have been! I didn’t realize the ancient giant fungi looked so much Iike an obelisk…🤔 that is, if we’re looking at the fossils correctly.
